About the Platform

The Makueni County Integrated SAGA ERP System is a transformative digital platform designed to unify and streamline the operations of key Semi-Autonomous Government Agencies (SAGAs) within the county—namely Wote Municipality, Emali-Sultan Hamud Municipality, and the Makueni County Fruit Development and Marketing Authority (MCFDMA). This system embodies Makueni's commitment to leveraging technology for efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric governance.

1. Unified Service Delivery: By integrating diverse municipal and agro-industrial functions, the ERP system ensures seamless coordination across departments. This consolidation facilitates efficient service delivery, from urban planning in Wote and Emali-Sultan Hamud to agro-processing operations at MCFDMA.

2. Enhanced Revenue Management: The platform incorporates advanced revenue collection modules, enabling real-time tracking and reporting. This feature has been instrumental in increasing the county's own-source revenue, reflecting improved financial accountability and resource mobilization.

3. Citizen Engagement and Transparency: Through integrated channels like the MyCounty App, residents can access services, make payments, and engage with county leadership. Features such as "Sema na Governor" empower citizens to participate actively in governance, fostering a culture of transparency and inclusivity.

4. Operational Efficiency: For MCFDMA, the ERP system streamlines the entire fruit value chain—from farmer registration and training to production and marketing. This efficiency reduces post-harvest losses, stabilizes fruit prices, and enhances the livelihoods of local farmers.

5. Data-Driven Decision Making: The system's robust analytics capabilities provide county officials with actionable insights, facilitating informed policy-making and strategic planning across all SAGAs.
